14 hurt in L.A. bus accident
LOS ANGELES --The Fire Department says 14 people have been slightly injured in a commuter bus crash in Los Angeles, according to the Associated Press.

Fire Department spokesman Gales Devin says a Metropolitan Transportation Authority bus collided with another vehicle at about 1 p.m. Wednesday.

MTA spokesman Jose Ubaldo says the bus was letting off passengers at a bus stop in the Crenshaw District when it was sideswiped by a truck.

Devin says 14 people complained of pain. Five were taken to hospitals, six were treated at the scene and three refused treatment.

Devin says all the injuries appeared to be minor.

It's not immediately clear whether anyone in the truck was injured or detained._
