| Local treasurers' workshop slated for Sacramento |
| The UTU International is making arrangements to conduct a Treasurers' Workshops and Winstabs training session May 17-18, 2007, in Sacramento, Calif.
Those interested in attending the meeting should contact UTUIA Field Supervisor Dan McElley at (970) 434-3594 for further details and to register for the workshop. The training session will be held at the Holiday Inn Capital Plaza, 300 J Street, in Sacramento. The room rate is $156 per night, but McElley said the UTU is currently trying to negotiate a lower rate. To make a room reservation, call the hotel at (916) 446-0100. Because space is limited (the room will accommodate approximately 20 people), interested treasurers should register as soon as possible. McElley said the hotel is approximately a 15-minute drive from the Sacramento International Airport and that shuttle service is available from the airport for a nominal fee. The UTU will cover the costs of the workshop meeting facilities and workshop materials. Expenses connected with your attendance may be reimbursable, if pre-approved at a local meeting, as an allowable expense of the local. |
