Form LM-3, a Department of Labor report that must be filed by local unions with annual income of less than $200,000 but more than $10,000, and that represent workers in the private sector, is now available on the DOL's website.

Local treasurers may complete this form manually by typing financial data directly into the form. The software will also permit treasurers that keep records electronically to import financial data from their accounting programs into the electronic form.
The User Guide to Form LM-3 guides users through the process of preparing and completing the form, providing instructions and navigation tips to help users download the form, enter information directly onto the form, import data files extracted from the union's accounting system into the form, and add digital signatures.
