Amtrak train kills two
STICKNEY, Ill. -- An Amtrak train from St. Louis heading to Union Station in Chicago has struck and killed two men in the southwest suburbs, Web site abclocal.go.com/wls reported.

It happened late Tuesday night near Stickney. About 70 passengers and crew were aboard the train. It was delayed three hours while police investigated.

Amtrak says two men were on the tracks when they were hit. Their identities have not been released.

The medical examiner's office says the victims appear to be homeless and both were in their 50s.
