PDF FILES WITH
THE ADOBE
ACROBAT READER
Documents that are in the PDF (Portable Document Format) must be opened with Acrobat Reader from Adobe Systems Incorporated, Inc.
If you do not have the Acrobat Reader installed, you can click on the link below, where you can download it for free.
Download the newly updated version 4.05 reader from the Adobe download page. It is an approximately a 5.6MB download depending on your needs (the third panel on the web page shows the version and size of download). Once you click the button the download should start automatically. Then double click on the downloaded file, and the Reader will install seamlessly.

The PDF format
A standard created by Adobe Systems Incorporated, the Portable Document Format (PDF) allows files to retain their resolution at high magnification; this means you can always improve readability by zooming in on a section of a PDF page using the magnifying glass (found in the Acrobat Reader toolbar).
Why use PDF
PDF Files are compact, cross platform and can be viewed by anyone with a free Acrobat® Reader. Additional benefits are:
PDF Files can be distributed globally via e-mail, the Web, corporate intranets or CD-ROM.
Acrobat Reader's navigation and zoom features enable closer review of PDF file text and images, even within your browser.
PDF files can be easily viewed and printed a page at a time.
