The Tax Department handles all railroad retirement matters for the UTU, and also offers assistance to local treasurers, UTU members and their families with railroad retirement questions. Assistance to local treasurers is not limited to railroad retirement, we also furnish UTU locals with tax information and reporting materials, except those items which must come from the tax agencies. This department is also responsible for the auditing of the Local Payroll Reports, Form OE-1a. Treasurers, if additional payroll report forms are needed, contact the Assistant National Reporting Officer at this office, or download the form below. |
