Dave Kowalyk - UTU Local 990

The brothers and sisters of local 990 mourn the loss of Brother Dave Kowalyk

Brother Kowalyk was fatally injured while engaged in switching operations on September 28, 1999 at the Transcona Car Shop at Winnipeg, Manitoba. The health and Safety committee is investigating.

Prayers for family and friends will be on Friday October 1, 1999 between 7:00 and 8:00 P.M. at the Cropo funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Winnipeg.

Flowers are gratefully declined.

Funeral services will be held at the Cropo funeral Chapel on Saturday October 2, 1999 at 11:00 A.M.

A trust fund for the family of brother Kowalyk has been established and members are collecting donations. Donations may be made through brothers Mask, Lowry, Semeniuk and Jones. Donations may also be forwarded through any UTU 990 rep. Cheques are to be made out to UTU 990.
