Value Behavioral Health has new name

In June 1998 two mental health and substance abuse companies joined strengths to become ValueOptions.

ValueOptions combines OPTIONS Health Care's expertise and Value Behavioral Health's excellence to offer a full range of managed care services. The new company is the second largest managed behavioral health care company in the nation and leads the industry in providing innovative mental health and substance abuse programs.

For UTU members and their families, the only change is the company name. The new company now answers the phone "ValueOptions"; everything else remains the same. All benefits administered by ValueOptions for the National Health and Welfare Plan remain the same.
