Laidlaw drivers & aides in Hesperia, California choose UTU

BUS DEPARTMENT NEWS

On June 23, 2000, Laidlaw drivers and aides in Hesperia, California elected the UTU to be their bargaining representative by a nearly unanimous vote.

We want to congratulate and thank the approximately 67 Laidlaw drivers and aides for choosing UTU as their collective bargaining representative.

This victory for the UTU followed the other recent UTU victory at the Laidlaw property at Riverside, CA. We look forward to working with and for the Hesperia drivers and aides.

Vice President McNelis also wants to thank General Chairperson Karen Belcher for her hard work in securing this organizing victory.
